At their regular meeting, Tuesday, Jan. 22, Hays County Commissioners will consider adoption of the county Transportation Plan developed by citizens groups and an outside consultant over the past year.
Following public meetings in November, the project team made adjustments to the plan based on comments received from the public. Highlights include deleting some connections around Wimberley, adjusting some connections around Kyle and Buda and adjustment of many of the proposed right-of-way widths.
According to project team members, they have attempted to create a plan that balances growth and infrastructure with community character and quality of life.
All updated materials are posted on the project webpage at: www.co.hays.tx.us/transportationplan.
