An American classic and winner of the 1949 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award for Best Play, “Salesman” has also been honored three times as Best Revival in its returns to Broadway. This is the story of Willy Loman, a weary salesman whose unfulfilled dreams have shaped the life of his family. Losing his job after years spent working to be “well liked” devastates Willy and forces his sons, Happy and Biff, and his dutiful wife Linda to face realities not all can accept. Although the plot reflects one man’s pursuit of the American Dream, its broader human themes are universal, making the play a favorite around the world. Presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., NYC.
