This Week in Wimberley, Texas

The Wimberley Texans (14-0) took off Friday afternoon aboard chartered buses as they headed to the campus of Baylor University to take on Coldspring-Oakhurst (13-1) at Floyd Casey Stadium. The game will kickoff at 7:30 and the Texans faithful hope it is one step closer to a return to the state championship.

The Texans last won a state championship in 2005 behind the vaulted “Code Red Defense. Wimberley’s own, Lone Star Gridiron – the top website covering high school football statewide – has the Texans as a favorite in this game
