This Week in Wimberley, Texas

The Wimberley Lady Texans defeated Needville (24-26)(25-10)(25-9) (25-18)  in the Regional Semi-finals playoff  match Saturday, November 13, 2010.  The Lady Texans have made it to the 3A State Volleyball Tournament!  They will play on Friday at either 1 pm or 3pm in San Marcos at Strahan Collesium in the state semi-finals.  It has yet to be determined who they will play or at what time.  The other teams that have advanced to the 3A State Tournament are Lovejoy, Abeline Wylie, and Columbus.  This year will be the 9th  appearance for the Lady Texans at the State Volleyball Tournament.
