The HCRA Wimberley Texans Varsity youth football team scrimmaged Canyon Lake Saturday afternoon and after a lackluster defensive start, rolled to a valuable victory. The benefits of practice are paying off as the Texans wore down the Hawks and edged closer to being game ready.

The HCRA Wimberley Texans JV youth football team had their first scrimmage of the season Saturday morning in Dripping Springs. The team started off slow as the Tigers’ defense had them on their heels, but after some adjustments the Texans took care of business in this valuable learning experience.

The HCRA Wimberley Texans Varsity youth football team scrimmaged Dripping Springs Saturday morning and handled the Tigers on both sides of the ball. There are still some kinks to work out on the offense, but defensively the Texans looked solid from top to bottom.
